My attempt at an action-adventure story

John P. Nelson is a retired military man who's got a mega chip on his shoulder and not on speaking terms with God. When he gets approached by an old buddy to retrieve a nutty missionary lady, he wants nothing to do with it. Not able to let a buddy down, he finds himself headed to one place he swore he'd never step foot again.
