I started my blog in June 2016, intending to have a place to get my stories in the hands of readers. I started with one follower -- my wife. Seven years later, I am creeping toward 500 followers. | I am working on the stories I need to tease my novel with the working title of Meegan's Quest. I've started the prologue with a seemingly unrelated set of vignettes that will tie into the teaser tales. In this vignette, I continue the tale with the characters introduced at The Jaunty Mug coffee shop, and their respective role-play characters. "As the Thursday role-play crowd settles into their characters at The Jaunty Mug, I work my magic. Bert spins his narrative. To their eyes, the coffee shop morphs into a seedy tavern. | When customers enter, they believe I am a normal coffee shop. What they don’t realize is that I am a hub of the multiverse. The atmosphere changes, depending on the clientele.
