So the the wheel turns and the Scourge of the Black Death spreads it's wings over all!
[Introduction]
In the year 2718 the world is crowed and its populist nearly tripled in size within only 700 years. Each 100 years or so a destructive disease would strike the earth, keeping the number of people at safe number. But this has not happened for many and many years, and so humans slowly began to destroy the earth and gradually themselves. Yes, the earth has come a long way in technology and industrial wise but at the same time buildings go up, and pollution fills the air as humans begin to mark their own deaths.

In that very same year a plague was released and distributed, one that people thought long gone, the Black Death! It first appeared in history around 1348 and has long been forgotten, all scientists have had their minds and focus on living diseases, and so a cure is still yet to be found. It is indeed horrible, it starts with the dying of your skin cells, and very soon your skin will color black and you stink of rotting flesh. Then a few hard boils and cancerous pockets will form on your body in various places, both painful and very unseemly. By this time most have left you, all afraid and uncertain, so when you catch a fierce fever no one is there to nourish you. All doctors have fled and abandoned their infected patients, too selfish and heartless to use their skills to help others.

At most you will live five days after being infected with the Black Death, but you could die within hours, never a chance for a hello or goodbye. In all this frenzy and panic citizens turn to their God(s) thinking this punishment for sin. Some begin to think of their own bizarre treatments, anything to survive death. A small group of religious leaders travel about the world, torturing the still well, only thinking that if they are to be given harsh punishment for their sins then perhaps God would save them, and people believed them. Why do this you ask? Oh, it is because they are also so very eager to rid of the Black Death's reign, for secretly a few of their own are infected, and they hurry to find a cure. Oh, and the scientists haven't completely disappeared, oh no. A small group of scientists begin their own journey, trying to find a cure scientifically, they do this in a means where it is not harmful to any, but not all doctors are so kind, just this group, just this cause.

In the streets one song rung loud and true, its tune no longer cheerful and gay but now quite melancholy:

Ring around the rosie
Pocket full of Posies
Ashes! Ashes!
We all fall down!

So the the wheel turns, and comes back again, and the Scourge of the Black Death spreads it's wings over all! Will you be a savior? The one who runs afraid? Or one of those fated to die?
