This poem, I wrote when I was hurt by the one person who had my heart.
[Introduction]
Sitting down making jokes and talking of dares
Never noticing the silent stares
You laugh at our jokes and even at our faces
Knowing how I act on a regular basis

Finally you say something, something lovely
Something funny, something that was meant for me only
I stop, I look, I stare at you with passion
My eyes are glued, my heart has fastened

A look of lust, a look of want
A look of love all in one
Your eyes a dark brown but shine a bit green in the middle
Almost as green as a ripened pickle
I'm mesmerized in them as you are in mine
You stand come forth and I know the heavens have sent me a sign

Clutching my face in the warmth of your hands
You lean and with a silent breathe, my heart does a dance
you release your love unto me like a blanket unto a child in the night
Overwhelmed by your sudden lust for me, I feel you pull me in tight
Then, its over, like it was a dream
You turn and walk away, no time for me to beam

I chase you but your much faster
I run like hell as if you were my master
You walk to fast and walk out of my life
Now my heart is hurting like its been cut wit a knife
Hoping I see you once more I begin my soaking
Now that you are gone, you have left my heart broken
