Suffering from Anxiety is a scary thing.
[Introduction]
My mind stretches,
My thoughts become distorted, they twist, then bend.
Fighting my way through torment,
I want this hell to end.

May soul remains untouched,
Yet still my sanity comes into question.
Just for that moment I'm struggling to be free,
to find my way through this torment,
The blanket that's been thrown over me.

A numbness shadows my body,
engulfs me from head to toe,
Lost in a state of confusion,
Locked in a world I don't want to know.

Frightened, I feel like I'm running from myself,
trapped in a body that's taken over, with no control.
Feeling alone and scared.
I turn to face the wall,
to hide myself from people who might see,
Ill turn back around again, when I feel like me.
