It all talks about anger, its consequences, and its strength.
[Introduction]
Anger built in me rising,

God for grace am asking.

So i don't do the inevitable,

Friends hurt more than enemy do

and greater is their wound too.

Selfishness and wickedness, all vices

Are tossed at me like pairs of dices.

I long to be comforted and calmed.

To the Holy Spirit now i do cry

that this cup should pass me by,

lest by me one should die.

Little things adding up caused it.

It has become more than a thousand fleet

of little devils, whispering in my heart,

pleading that i end this cast

that has inflicted me so hard

Halt! I say, Halt! I pray,

that i should live another day

to repay those who angered me

and slay those who reviled me.

But how can I in so short a time?

I ask, better be kind

I am told, than to be blind

to good that has long begone.

Alright, I'll try to forgive

but my little heart forbids

that i forgive, talk less of forget.

My stomach ties into a knot

my head thundering wishing never to stop

All because of ...........................?
