a creature called the nitreme needs friendship.
[Introduction]
There he was. Standing in front of the world’s largest statue. It was old, with cracks all over it. It was of a figure, although nobody knew who or what it was. It was dusty, for it was in the middle of an old abandoned town. The town was green, because vines wrapped around each and every one of the buildings. It smelled like grass, when you first get up in the morning. It was in a forest, so I could hear the rustling of the leaves, but it was very quiet for a forest. Everything was so perfect that it made me want to sing! When I looked behind me I could see a building with a light on, no vines on it, and in perfectly good condition. It was an abandoned village so it interested me more than anything, even the statue! But then I remembered. This forest was said to be cursed along with the statue. That people still lived here even though they never existed. Then I started to run. I ran through the musty grass, Out of the forest. And all the way back to town. When I got back to my town I looked back, nothing. Then I looked forward again and there was an orange fuzzy fuzz ball right in front of me! It had big cute yellow eyes. But yet, it had fangs. It started to hop towards me, and I started to back away. And then, for some reason I was not afraid. When it got to me, with pleading eyes, asked “teacher?” then I totally freaked out. It was talking! It wanted me to teach it. And it was overall an orange ball of fuzz. Had it known I had to re-take 6th grade it might not have wanted me to teach it. But yet the pleading, cute, big, yellow eyes took over, I thought it was so cute, one lesson couldn't hurt. “Teacher” it asked again. I bent down and to the little creature I stated “one lesson.” It replied with even cuter happy eyes “me nitreme, you Thomas” then I was starting to freak out again. After calming down (by the way it was right, my name is Thomas, which is why I freaked out) I thought “what does he want me to teach, anyways?” as if the nitreme could read my mind it said “Thomas teach friendship, I alone.” Then I was a little sad. No wonder all those explorers went missing, they wanted to hide from the nitreme. And he was the last of his kind probably. A tear slowly trailed down my face.
