Junes jovial jaunt

Mistaken strangers imprisoned by silence
are held in seamless grace
by the whispered words
of simple complexity.
A bitter brew caught
in the scent of wonder
at the perplexities of unfulled dreams.
Thoughts bound in ernest
are left unrealized,
taunted by the tears
long dried and wiped away.

And I,
I am left floundering in foolishness
begat by the plundering desires of life
that are but traces of who I would be.
