Round 1 is OPEN!

The last round only had two qualifying entries, so I'll be sending out some reviews and consolation prizes shortly.

In other news, I'm happy to announce that Paradise Cove is back to a monthly format! The whole "quarterly" contest experiment didn't really work, so we're back to the format that's worked for us for so many rounds in the past. Entries are now due on the 15th of the month. Please note that this round will be due FEBRUARY 15TH (not January 15th!), so you've got a little extra time to work on your entries this round while we get on schedule. *Smile*

Here's your prompt:

Your protagonist screwed up. He or she totally forgot about Valentine's Day and
ended up in a huge fight with his or her significant other. How does your character
cope the next day? Does he or she try to make it up to the significant other?
Did they break up and now he or she is on the rebound?
Give us a sizzling story about Valentine's Day: The Day After.
