Fantasy Flash Fiction Festival SPECIAL EDITION ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** What this is: This is my contest in it's SPECIAL END OF THE YEAR EDITION! This contest will be open to ANY sub-genre of fantasy flash fiction. This includes Sci-Fi, which is just as much a part of the fantasy genre as anything else. I have received erotica for these in the past, but this, however, is a different kind of fantasy, and so must be excluded if it does not have a fantasy or sci-fi element I would like this SPECIAL EDITION to be a showcase of the best sci-fi and fantasy flash fiction from 2010. Limitations: Since this is a flash fiction contest, I am implementing a word count rule. You should note, this word count is flexible, but the more you are over or under it the better your story must be. My word preference will be set at 200-1000 words and micro fiction stories of exactly 50 words and exactly 100 words (these do not include the title.). Like I said this is flexible (except the micro fiction), but only to the extent of your story’s quality. Donations: Any donations will be GREATLY appreciated. Any donation over 20K will be awarded a merit badge and have my eternal gratefulness. Prizes:SPECIAL EDITION PRIZES: With this special edition, First Place will receive the blue, first place 100,000 GP awardicon and a shot story merit badge and a merit badge appropriate to their genre (sci-fi or fatasy). Second Place will receive the red second place 90,000 GP awardicon and a merit badge appropriate to their genre (sci-fi or fantasy). Third Place will receive a 10,000 GP awardicon as well as a merit badge appropriate to thier genre. With hopeful donations these prizes will go up. Thanks to everyone who entered our last round. Judges: Rules: 1. Words: between 200 and 1000 or exactly 50 or exactly 100 word micro-fiction stories 2. genre: anything fantasy/ sci-fi. 3.Submitted between December 20th and January 15th. 4. Three flash entries allowed per person or four micro fiction per person (also up to four stories of mixed micro and flash lengths). 5. Content rating must be between E and GC. 6. Please no previous contest winners, though second place is alright. 7. SPECIAL END OF THE YEAR EDITION RULE: I would like this to be a showcase of the best fantasy and sci-fi flash fiction from 2010, therefore, I would like all stories to have been written in 2010.
