A short story contest. All stories taking place in a bar.

Howdy folks, nothing fancy here, I'm just a plain and simple bartender. However, I love bar stories so here comes the contest rules.

1)All entries must be posted in bitem format. No direct entries into the forum.

2)All stories must take place in a bar. Any genre is fine as long as a bar (or bars for the hoppers) is most of the setting and the prompt is followed. I want to feel like I'm in that very bar.

3)2500 Word max. I won't count unless it seems too long.

4)Content rating no higher than 18+

5)Naturally, this rounds prompt is Christmas or New Years. Celebrate, grieve, laugh, cry, fall in love, kill, fight, dance or just get drunk or even play hopscotch. It doesn't matter as long as it's Christmas or New Years and it's in a bar.

6)2 drink maximum. That means at most two entries or we'll have to send the bouncer after you and he's mean!

7)Any entry violating the rules will be deleted and an explanation emailed to the author.

First Prize: 10,000 Gift Points or 10,000GP Awardicon.
Second Prize: 5,000 gift points.
Third Prize: 1,500 gift points
Any honorable mentions: 500 gift points
(All donations gratefully accepted)
The deadline is midnight New Year's Eve. When 2005 starts this contest is over. If there's less than five entries there will only be two winners of 5,000 GPs and 1,500 GPs.
