Original Villanelle, not from a prompt.
The last time I was in Belfast, I watched an old man buying countless articles of women's bargain clothing and laughed. I used the suggestion to write a villanelle to explore my feelings of guilt.

 The Gift  (ASR)
This is a villanelle composed while shopping in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
