Koo-koo-ka-choo A common enough name, hers, Mrs. Robinson, and his, Ben..., Benjamin Braddock, in full, not particularly unusual. Typically American. Was she in all her mature beauty a predator? Was he a young innocent, a ripe-for-plucking pawn? What lies behind the lies? An unappreciated middle-aged woman and spouse desperately seeking validation that she remains desirable; a foot-free, but confused young man in search of identity; and each finding answers, some to questions unasked, in the other. And a third player, her daughter, Elaine, thrown into the mix as a lovers’ foil, begins to turn the plot in the middle of the play, opening new doors while closing others.
