Welcome Trekkers. Have a cup of Klingon Raktajino, and enjoy our friendly Starbase. |
I just bought the book. Thanks, Narnia3, for mentioning our story and forum in your interview with the publisher. For those of you who would like to take a look at the story that Narnia3 and I wrote together, there is a link to it in our forum heading. This is my favorite part of the interview: "The other aspect is collaboration. When you write a book you control everything that goes in there, but in a script it's down to other people's interpretation, the film crew, the actors. Do you like the idea of collaboration in a creative sense"? "I've written two collaborative pieces, 'All Things Three' was collaborative, and I wrote a 'Star Trek' story collaboratively with a lady who lives in America named Mary-Anne, and it was actually crime fiction involving 'Star Trek' characters and it was wonderful writing with her, because I'd write one chapter, then she'd write a chapter, then I'd write a chapter - we took turns. And our writing styles are quite different so even though we both knew 'Star Trek' characters in and out, and we met each other because I contributed to her forum on the 'Star Trek' website, it was wonderful looking at our different writing styles and how we could blend them together". ***Anyone who would like to buy the book, or read the entire interview can view it here: http://www.eclecticapress.cjb.net/
