Write poetry from prompts just for the fun of it; formal or free verse, you pick.

Tiny Glimpse prompt 16
"Imagine yourself a bird flying high in the sky viewing the world beneath."

Tiny Glimpse

You could say
It‘s looking bad today
And you would be quite right

You could say
The earth horizons
Have been battered like the night

You could say
Eternal hope
Hasn’t brought a lot of light

But I see
The misty mountains
Towering over distant seas

And the heartbeat
Of the nations
And the souls on bended knees

So I celebrate
The morning
With its tiny glimpse of peace
