Hello (or Zdravstvuite if you're feeling Russian),
Anyone want to read (and hopefully review) a brief paper on Grigorii Rasputin? I feel like the topic doesn't belong here, seeing as Rasputin was not some kind of devil incarnate, the Anastasia cartoon aside ... however, I'm starting to find a lot of people are uncomfortable with the topic. I cut this paper drastically; mostly, I omitted a large portion of the material on the reign of Nikolai II ... I guess what I really want to know is if the paper still makes sense or if there are questions about Rasputin readers would like to see answered.
Anyway, if your'e interested, go for it:

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. (Teddy Roosevelt)
