Yes, I, too, had doctors telling me the fibromyalgia was all in my head. Of course that was before doctors actually believed it truly existed. Back then, when doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong, they lumped your troubles into their trash can diagnosis of fibromyalgia. It took a few years before I was finally diagnosed and then, it was a rheumatologist who diagnosed me with it. Sounds like you understand the frustration I went through!
