Nonsense Thursday Edition

Withal
Sidle
Glib
Ninny
Sibilate
Winnow

The snake seems to sibilate
As he slips through the grass.
We sidle to the side
And let his spirit pass.

From the politician's tongue,
Glib words flow.
We let our spirits hide.
Pretend we still don't know

That the apple hangs within reach.
Even a ninny can sidestep the snake.
That doesn't block out the speech
Withal. None will it winnow

When the world begins to fall.
