I agree with you there, and do not expect to become a bestselling novelist just because I've done this course.

As for craft development, I know very little of writing specifically for children, so in that sense, I will benefit, but in terms of writing in general, I'm going to believe what I've learnt during my degree over whatever they teach me, and I'm not convinced that they'll teach me anything new (that's significant, anyway.)

In saying that, what have I got to lose (other than £175!)?
