I just sort of stumbled upon this. Generally I don't like to do this kind of thing, but perhaps it won't be too bad.

Anyway, I happened to have already written a poem that fits this prompt. Unfortunately it ended up a bit darker than planned and seems to give the wrong impression.

Oh and the phrase is "Drawn only to be washed away". Song title and artist is included in the poem.
