The Earth Day Challenge

About six months ago, I vowed to never participate in any 'reviewing challenges' anymore....but this one was for the very bestest of causes, one that is close to my heart since I love animals and gardening.

Through this endeavor, I met new friends of like mind and found 'new' written treasures. Some of the items were so well written and/or so moving that I gave them awards. I would have done that whenever I had found them, but this EarthDay Review Challenge facilitated and expedited their discovery.

I was very pleased to have been allowed to be part of this exercise. I learned so very much in some of the poetry and short stories that I read and reviewed. And new doors have been opened..... it was a win-win, joyous adventure.

Thank you for structuring this event to be active for more than one day - that was wise as it allowed so many others to participate in one way or another. I was impressed by the amount of new written submissions related to this event.
