Faster! I thought anxiously; urging my weary legs forward as my feet pounded roughly against the lopsided road. Dread washed over me-paralyzing my arms-as I sensed something awful yet to occur. My heart thumped wildly in my chest, ready to surge from my ivory skin. The biting wind stung my eyes, sending bleary tears down my wind bitten cheeks, twisting my vision into a hazy blur. My breath turned into wheezing as I clutched my hand to my stomach. I’m going to puke! I thought uneasily as a lump formed its way down in the pit of my stomach, twisting it uncomfortably. The landscape vividly lay before me, as I tried to distract myself for the pain growing throughout my body, like a burst of painted colors merged into a beautiful painting.
