This is my poem "THe Human Painter" as my entry:

I lie awake and count the times
I lost myself when feeling blue
It's so easy to blur the lines
Chasing someone as special as you

But as I stab myself with pains anew
I feel they bring me ever closer to you
The girl I look upon and dream of every night
The one who eases and yet causes my every plight

Of all these memories that I hold dear
There is one I keep especially near
The day I came to realize
To let myself look past the lies

The lies I told myself, and told you too
The lies I had made of not loving you
I fooled myself and was deceived
I can't believe I was so naive

And now I write my feelings
With the blood of my outpoured heart
Yet backwards I am still reeling
I can never replace your art

Your ability to paint the potential
Of everyone who comes near to you
To bring out the lights of every soul
And paint out every hue

And of this ability you have no clue
How sad indeed you can't see as I do
I see a woman of prayers and dreams
And yet you see none of this it seems

You're the reason my life took a turn
And now for you I yearn
So strong and deep, this which I feel
You hold for me the life that is real

Not this sham of world in which I am now forced to reside
But a better place, somewhere beautiful, which holds you inside

I paint that picture in my mind
A world where we leave everyone behind
Pure beauty...real poetry
Which only you inspire
