Hello.

When it comes to restricting access on contest entries, you'll just want to make sure the judge(s) are able to access the item in question. It is also nice to be able to allow all site members to read your entry, but it is not necessarily required in order to enter a contest. Since I am the only judge for this round, an access restriction for registered authors and up would work. However, if I had a registered user (gray case) assisting with judging, then the access restriction would need to be adjusted to allow that individual to read your story.
