It was tricky to come up with a new way to tell him, no, she did not love him, she was not going to go out with him, and any dreams he had about them were invented from the imaginings of his head. The simple way did not work. Somehow, in his head, "no" meant "I want to be persuaded" and "please go away" meant "just for now."
It would have been a scary situation if she wasn't completely confident in her ability to take him down and out if necessary (and it was growing clearer to her, at least, that taking him down would indeed be necessary, probably in the very near future) but her sensei had always taught her that using her black belt against someone who was not able to defend himself wasn't why he taught her. He taught ending fights, not beginning them. But soon she would have to end this, and her little stalker was probably going to get hurt.
