Depends. Personally, I'm really bad at descriptions. I tend to barrel right through all the action or dialog and forget to add descriptions like: what characters look like; what settings look like; what characters are doing with their bodies while they talk (during dialog scenes.) When I go back and add that stuff in, it always amazes me how much it boosts my word count. It doesn't double it or anything, but adds somewhere between 5% and 20% depending on the pacing I'm going for.

Where do you think your word count will end up, based on the story as it is now?
