Re: Re: Cheating, for lack of a better word, is good.
Oh, my darling Jude could never bore me. He is wonderful and I love him. But it hurts having him be so unhappy and not really realize it, and so much of this story involves tossing more misery and confusion his way...

His life is so regimented and he has forced himself to be so controlled (not controlling, just controlled) that it's really just boring. He's a damn demon hunter, but that is ALL that he is because everything else has been stripped away from him, or he has hidden it away to keep himself safe (re: alive). So...it's boring, but it's also heartbreaking.

And I wouldn't kick Jude...he's only one of the deadliest people on the planet. But it's OK, because he knows you didn't really mean it. Have I mentioned Jude is basically a misguided Captain America as played by Lee Pace (Thranduil, Ronan the Accuser, Ned the Piemaker, etc)? (Yes, he has decided that, if his life is ever made into a movie, he would like to be played by Lee Pace, thank you very much. He asks for so little, I had to give it to him.)
