Free to Write

Sunlight gleamed off of the shiny stainless steel rifle barrel as he looked through the rifle's scope towards the distant target. He knew that this was the wrong rifle to be using for a sniper, but the call had been an emergency, and he hadn't had time to return to his base and retrieve his preferred rifle. But such was the job of protecting the president. He just hoped that the terrorist that was his target wouldn't notice the glint of light.
