Noticing Newbies

Hi Serj!
I'm in New Zealand, so I'm on the other side of the world from you. It's a pleasure to welcome you to Writing.com though, which is a marvellously international site.

When you mentioned creating 'alternate realities', I immediately thought of ENB and her world building class "Invalid Item" . That might appeal to you.

There are heaps of contests on the site that would encourage you to write and create though - a good one to start with is "The Writer's Cramp"  which is a daily contest that encourages you to just write, not worrying so much about editing, but just getting the words down on paper (or screen!).

Anything I can help with, just ask, or there are friendly faces all around. Enjoy your time here, and I am sure you'll come to love it just as much as we do.
