I'm doing much better than I ever thought I would, at just over 23K. I'm rewriting chapters and they've been quite eye-opening. I've been writing from different POVs and now have 'views' that I didn't have before of a scene, which I'm pleased with. Now my big struggle is to remember who my main character actually is, and to remember he needs his POV scenes!
Not entirely sure I'll hit 50K but I'm chuffed at progress so far so it's win-win anyway.
