Sci-fi is limited by physics (at least partially), whereas in fantasy you can completely ignore physics if you want. I think these two realms allow the greatest freedom for the imagination to play in, with fantasy winning that by a nose.
My short stories were requirements for an OU course I took in Jan '17, so written to tight deadlines - with the exception of the random act of kindness, which was written for my local writers group.
