Nice to meet you. Yeah, I get lots of ideas for stories. Right now I'm deciding on which one to write first.
Well, for game development, I use a program called Game Maker. I learned to use it by watching tutorials on youtube. So for example, if I wanted to create a platforming game, I would watch a tutorial on youtube about how to make a platforming game on Game Maker. But instead of simply copying the code, I would learn how it works, and experiment with it. That's how you gradually get familiarized with the programming language, to a point where later you'll be able to write the code on your own. Once you understand how your program's progamming language works, it becomes easier to write your own code for your games.
Thanks you for the warm welcome, have a great day!
