I watched as my cat crouched on her pet house in front of the window. She wiggled her bottom and was making short meowing sounds. I walked over and looked out the window. There, sitting on our railing was a large blue jay. My cat wiggled a few more times. Those meows seemed to be saying "Get off my lawn!".
The bird squawked and spread its immense wings. My cat didn't move until the bird was out of sight. No one was going to invade our yard while she was around.
