That’s not entirely correct as per our terms of service, free accounts that are not actively used may be purged from the system completely after a given period.

While we do not actively remove accounts, there have been a number of mass removals for inactivity over our 20 years. The stuff just sitting around taking up space builds up over time. *Wink*
