Welcome to WDC! Yes, it can be a little overwhelming at first. It takes awhile to get used to everything, but it's definitely worth it! *Smile* Plus you are surrounded by a great community of helpful and encouraging members! *Bigsmile* I've been here since 2002 and love it.

I, too, am interested in the children's genre and poetry. *Smile* We are a mix of a little bit of every genre, so that's fun, too, as I've dabbled in genres I never thought I'd be interested in writing before.

My own advice to you would be to just take it slow. Look around, ask questions, post an item (you can always delete it, if you choose.) And check out
