Review/Cheerleading Question
I'm not new to the site or OctoPrep (although I'm normally on the other side and not participating).

Isn't it normal for cheerleading reviews to build the writer up, gently point out mistakes, or just, ya know, cheerlead?

In other words, a comment/review from a cheerleader shouldn't make you question if you should even be writing something? Am I correct?

I totally get that not all ideas are for everyone and not everyone likes the same thing, but maybe work on first helping rather than questioning the story outright?

My story may not be your story and that's okay! But please don't tear mine down.
