It’s about the way the emojis are coded and how browsers display that. And also the fact handles are also likely different in how they’re stored and re-displayed each time in plain text.
It’s your individual set-up that decides what it will then look like once you load a page. For example, I’m on Edge on an iPhone and the moon in your handle is yellow and has a face, the same as the one in the post.
On a system that doesn’t support that, I imagine you’re seeing a black Unicode moon? For browsers/systems that truly don’t support it, they’ll just get a black square. It’s why I personally don’t use non-WdC emojis - it can vary widely how different people actually see it.
