How do you make an en dash besides copying/pasting it? example: was spectacular—illusionary Magic

How do you make a degree symbol in 98°

Never mind, I found out how to do it.

Hold down the alt key on a PC's keyboard, and on the numerical keypad, type the corresponding number.

em dash = Alt + 0 1 5 0 –
en dash = Alt + 0 1 5 1 —
degree = Alt + 0 1 7 6 °
copyright = Alt + 0 1 6 9 ©
3/4 = Alt + 0 1 9 0 ¾

You can always look up "Alt Codes List" on Google to find other ones.

Unless there is an easier way?
