I was happy to see this forum, but surprised not to see more activity. I know there are others out there...
I opted to join a hormone replacement study, mostly because I'd get free a mammogram and pelvic exam/pap smear, plus get paid for keeping a journal of my experiences. But, I experienced cramps (which I hadn't had for 2 years), so I'm back to natural too.
My mom had her hysterectomy at 36. Both of my younger sisters have had problems with pap smears for years - since they were in early 30's. I started peri-menopause long ago - in my mid-30's. But I've only experience hot flashes about once a month or so. I do have some "hormonal moments" though, much like the old PMS...
Blessings,
Kenzie
