The Michigander

I knew after maybe the first week, but I was so scared to go too fast or mess anything up, cause that's what happened w/ my other boyfriends. But one night, he asked me how I felt about him, and I just blurted it out. I have never said "I love you" first, because I cannot stand to be rejected. It was like someone else was speaking through me, giving me the strength to say what I felt. And I have never regretted it. When he came up to visit me for the first time, I met him at the airport. He came out of the walkway, and we hugged like we had always known each other, and it felt so right. I knew then that I had finally found my soul mate.
