Sure, you can keep the name, chage it, what ever you want :) If you create a character, the character stays with you. You can keep the character (or change it) for the next Ball, the same with the costume. So, say if you were Sir. Lancerlot for this ball and wanted to change your costume for the next but still stay Sir. Lancerlot, that's fine! If you wanted to change your character but keep your costume, that's fine too!
