"A Problem Page For All!"

How freaky to see your dad with tubes going into him everywhere!!!!! I would have passed out. I'm not very brave when it comes to tubes and IVs and needles and things.

Gosh, I can't believe that it won't ever go away, that he'll be facing it all his life. Most illnesses just kind of disperse on their own, but he still has to go back to the hospital many times after this. Poor guy!!!!

How can you prevent it? Through diet? Exercise? Does your dad have to eat differently now that this has happened? Is he in pain?

My thoughts and love are with the Hiemstras! I can't handle health problems -- if anything happens to me or one of my family members, I become scared of the whole world and start thinking about dying and the fragility of life, etc. Does that happen to anyone else?
