Umm... You got me hooked, I really want to read the story, but it requires a PassKey code.

In my not-particularly-humble opinion, there is no reason why sacrilege can't be used as a crucial plot element. Don't worry about the super-religious people as far as getting in trouble, what are they going to do, burn you at the stake? (Well, maybe in the Midwest) Realistically, anything can be a crucial plot element- Sacrilege, puppies, a character's opinion on the price of tea in China, racism. Anything at all is perfectly OK.
