Once upon a story time

Ill tell a tale that scares my soul,
Reaching back through years to find my haunting.

Selfish being am I
For the world has troubles and fears that count to high,
But I am trapped in space and time
and much worse my own mind,
Running through a forest never ending
Paths that cross and forward go
But fool that I am
I realize to late the circles I am turning,
The laughter echos in my head
And silent screams hear no comfort.

Years and years go by
Slowly twisted webs of time,
Delusions and paronia keep my mind alive
No escape.
False dreams of a better life,
How to find the happiness of other lives.
Earth that shifts beneath my feet
Maybe, im running from what I seek.
True course of my destruction
To know how to deal with pain so deep
That happiness scares the hell out of me.

Look into my face
The smile comes to easy to my lips
The mask that hides,
Except my eyes
Too close a look will confirm your fears
That this girl is troubled
