The Chronicles of Arden, The Awakening is a debut novel that tells the story of a young lord who becomes a dragon from lord's and his companion’s point of view. The setting is in a multiple world medieval empire. Dragons are believed extinct. Formors, a race of giants, have established a vast empire spanning worlds using gates.

Eoghan is a young Formor Lord. Tremendous power is trapped within his soul and body. After traumatic experience Eoghan encounters dragons and learns that he is a reincarnated dragon. Forced to accept a quest, he must found a temple in order to regain his magic and keep his father’s lands. Meanwhile, the emperor and others corrupt his family.
