Middlechild syndrom
Family is bittersweet.
However, Lately my tastebuds have lost the sensation of sweet. As we grow older we get closer to understanding that our parents are also just humans trying their best. But what do you do when you their best is full of neglect and hurt. Not for all of their children though, just for you. Its like no matter how hard you push to build a relationship of love its never reciprocated, just full of fake enthusiasm, just enough to get you to Shutup about whatever it is you're talking about. Its a never ending cycle of being that 10 year old middle child except its 13 years later and youre still the middle child though everyones moved out but you. Infront of the empty walls surrounding you, its as if ur not there. You're lost but you're also in the only safe place you've ever know. Bittersweet.
