I am a notorious spendthrift. Have money, will spend it - that's my motto. So my new plan is to sock away enough gps at the end of every month to merit a full year of upgraded service next year. My goal is 1,399,500 gps (the cost of one year of premium membership). I need to save 116,625 gps each month to reach my goal of a premium membership for next year. My goals for premium membership are: 7/1 116,625 8/1 233,250 9/1 349,875 10/1 466,500 11/1 583,125 12/1 699,750 1/1 816,375 2/1 933,000 3/1 1,049,625 4/1 1,166,250 5/1 1,282,875 6/1 1,399,000 Do you want to help me get an upgrade? Right now, I'm doing fine, but it's possible that something b-a-d could happen and I may need help. So a few things about me:  I have been a member since November 7th, 2003. Within two months I had given 374 reviews (only 414 ratings, so you see, mostly reviews) and was the number one reviewer. Most of my reviews are in-depth and thorough.  As of September 2005, I have given 1,310 reviews, with only the first sixty consisting of ratings-only. My reviews are very in-depth. I have received several site merit badges for being the #1 credited reviewer, as well as others for placing in the top ten. I have recieved many 'thank you' merit badges for my reviewing, as well.Also within two months, I had about fifty items. Of these, most were static items.The non-static items included a review forum (which I had to shut down due to time constraints) and a contest (which I am hoping to continue for some time). As of September 2005 - two months shy from two years of membership - I have created 156 items and anticipate filling my portfolio by April 2006, when my current membership runs out. Most of these are statics.The nonstatic items, in addition to those mentioned previously, are primarily contests. One of these is my monthly short story contest, which helps me find items to include in the monthly sitewide Drama newsletter I edit (I'm one of four editors). Because I try to muster large prizes (45,000 in gps, plus whatever honorable mentions I award), this takes a huge span of my 'earnings' on the site.I am a member of, among many other things, "Invalid Item"  , which is also somewhat gps intensive. But great fun, so how can I not participate and bring a smile to someone else's face?  As an off-site plea: I am a stay at home mom of three children, four and under. We are on a tight budget, and any upgrades must come strictly from my earnings or recieved donations. While I am not necessarily more deserving of your gps than any other group, I can certainly promise that my time on this site will be actively spent. My hope was that, once I had enough gps earned for next year's upgraded membership, I would be able to purchase merit badges and awardicons. Now I find myself trapped by circumstances yet again, and unable to be as giving as I'd like to be while I save for my upgrade. <stomps foot> Maybe I should quit writing and filling up my port...nah!
