A mile away, a glacier overwhelms a salmon boat.
The salmon boat at the base of the glacier gives an idea of how huge the tide water glacier is. This photo was taken at least a mile away from the glacier. The salmon boat picks up chunks of ice that 'calved' from the glacier to pack salmon, that is caught on the trip back to its harbor.
