It was the start of class and James' music teacher hadn't come in yet. Since he is the class clown, he decides he will get a few laughs. He walked up to the front of class and stuffed a basketball up his shirt.
He acted out various poses of his teacher and got his laughs. Before he knew it, his teacher walked in and caught him.
"I would like to see you after class, James," she announced.
40 minutes later, James wasn't really dreading the news. It was only going to be a detention for half an hour. That's what he thought until Ms. Cherry said:
"Now I would usually just give you a detention but that wouldn't teach you. So I have to do something drastic," she held out a ring. "This ring controls reality. It makes anything I say come true. If you don't believe me, then I'll show you..."
