They can't take them off

Martin looks down at the small band of boys trying to remove your smelly sock from your foot.They tried and tried but they couldn't do it, they only managed to pull the sock down to his ankle bone.
Martin:"Well seen as you guys can't do it, I want you to pick the first one to be eaten by your god".
